Exhibition Dates
WHATZ is committed to discovering promising young artists currently based in Taiwan, and to building a gateway to the international art market. A distinguished jury composed of leading figures from both the art industry and academia will conduct a rigorous selection process to identify emerging talents. Selected artists will gain valuable exposure, professional guidance, and introductions to galleries—empowering them to take a bold step forward in their artistic careers.
Sheraton Taipei Hotel is located in Zhongzheng District, one of the cultural and artistic centers of Taipei City.
It is only a 1-minute walk from Shandao Temple MRT Station, and is also equipped with a taxi station and paid parking lot.The exhibition rooms provided by the hotel are spacious and bright, ranging in size from 32 to 66 square meters (approximately 10 to 20 pings).
Art collectors and art lovers can appreciate contemporary art from all over the world in this comfortable environment.

The application review process and booth arrangement will be processed in sequence according to the time the application is submitted.
The exhibition team cannot guarantee the required booth size and exhibition floor (room number). It will be adjusted according to space limitations and total application demand. The exhibition team reserves the right to adjust the booth allocation at any time and has the final decision on booth allocation and expo planning.

Supernova Registration
Registration and payment period: 2025.01.01 ~ 2025.03.31
Eligibility
1. Independent creative individuals or groups born after January 1, 1980.
2. For group applicants, each creator must meet the above qualifications and fill in the team name, representative information and a list of all creators when registering.
Judging Method
(1) WHATZ Art Fair will invite curators and academic experts to form a judging panel to evaluate the submitted materials and select works suitable for exhibition in the 2025 WHATZ Art Fair.
(ii) The judging panel has the right to determine whether there are vacancies and reserves the right not to award prizes.
(III) The materials submitted by the applicant will not be returned after the evaluation is completed and the applicant may not request a return.
Awards and Grants
(i) The winners will exhibit their works at the 2025 WHATZ Art Fair. A total of 4 winners will be selected, and 2 of them will exhibit together in the same exhibition room.
(ii) All selected artists must participate in the 2025 WHATZ Art Fair exhibition. The artists are responsible for the transportation, installation, removal, preservation and sale of their works. No additional expenses will be subsidized.
Notes
(I) The winning works will be exhibited at the Sheraton Taipei Hotel from May 16 to May 18, 2025. If the winner is unable to cooperate with the exhibition, it will be deemed that he/she has automatically waived his/her eligibility and the alternate winner will take his/her place.
(ii) All exhibited works must be available for sale to the public. During the exhibition period, no exhibition or sales contracts may be signed with other entities.
(III) The winners shall arrange for the exhibition setup before the exhibition and dismantle the exhibition after the exhibition. The relevant transportation and accommodation expenses shall be borne by the winners themselves.
4. During the 2025 WHATZ Art Fair, the proceeds from the exhibition will be distributed in the ratio of 40% to the exhibition organization and 60% to the artists.
(V) To facilitate the exhibition marketing and promotion, the winner agrees to authorize 2025 WHATZ Art Fair to use the works and exhibition images in print publications and various promotional media, including promotional materials, catalogues, television, digital video (not limited to CD format) and the Internet.
(VI) The entries and their ownership must be original to the creators. If a work is found to be a copy, plagiarism or infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, the entry or selection qualification will be cancelled and the right to decide whether to keep it in the reserve will be reserved.
