Yen Ying Kuo, born in Tainan, is currently study at National Taiwan Normal University. I created a funny character in the form of a piece of meat symbolizing mediocre modern people, and it is a metaphor that under the capitalist society, people are like pork being weighed and priced. Through the vision of this piece of meat, it reveals the daily life and society of spectacle of today's wage slave (Shachiku). As an artist, I do not choose to be cynical and critical, but prefers to use humorous and romantic ways to seriously discuss various issues in today's capitalist society. My artworks are expressed in a variety of forms, such as multiple media, oil painting, sculpture, illustration, animation and graphic design. Also have been collected by Taoyuan Art Exhibition, the Art Bank of the Ministry of Culture, etc.
